Frequently asked questions
What kind of concerts does José Luis Trinidad sing?
Lyric galas of opera and zarzuela, Christmas concerts, recitals with piano, charity concerts and civic events, as well as musical theatre and crossover repertoire. Programmes are built to measure around the ensemble and running time the promoter needs.
What ensembles can he sing with?
Symphony orchestra, symphonic wind band, plectrum orchestra, string quartet, wind quintet and piano. He has sung with all of them: he keeps a lasting collaboration with the OSVI, Orquesta Sinfónica de Villena, and works regularly with wind bands and music societies across the Valencian Community.
Where does he perform?
He is based in València and performs regularly throughout the Valencian Community — the provinces of València, Alicante and Castelló — and across the rest of Spain. He has also sung in the Region of Murcia and in Teruel. For engagements outside these areas, please enquire about availability and travel.
What is his voice type, and in which languages does he sing?
He is a lyric tenor. He sings in Italian, Spanish, Valencian, French, German and English.
Can he be booked through the SARC scheme of the Diputació de València?
Yes. The OperaValencia programme “Vesprada d’Òpera i Sarsuela Íntima”, for wind quintet, soprano and tenor, is listed in the SARC catalogue of the Diputació de València under reference 26MU0010. Town councils in the province can book it that way.
Is there an agency or any intermediary?
No. Booking is direct, by email, phone or WhatsApp. He answers personally.
How long is a concert?
It depends on the format. The recital programme for quintet, soprano and tenor runs about 60 minutes. For lyric galas and concerts with band or orchestra, the length is set by the promoter's programme.
